Welcome to Peru IL Rotary

The Peru Rotary Club is the Illinois Valley’s foremost organization for business professionals committed to community and service.

The Peru Rotary Club includes men and women who have distinguished themselves in business, civic or philanthropic leadership.

Rotary club members are part of a diverse group of professional leaders working to address various community and international service needs.

Through community service and other means, Rotary club members help promote peace and understanding throughout the world.

Our members are our most important asset. They are the force that allows Rotary to carry out its many humanitarian efforts and achieve its mission.

Since it was chartered in 1921, the Peru Rotary Club has produced scores of international, vocational, and community projects to advance the cause of humanity and make the Illinois Valley a better place to live.

The Four-Way Test of the things We Think, Say or Do

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster.

  1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
  2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
  3. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business, and community life;
  4. The advancement of international understanding, good will, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional men united in the ideal of service.
